CONTRACT FOR AIRSHIPS
MINISTRY'S REQUIREMENTS

The draft contract with the Airship Guarantee Company provides for the construction of an airship conforming to the requirements of the Air Ministry and the principles of air-worthiness laid down by the Aeronautical Research Committee. The prescribed trials include a voyage to India. The price is £•'100,000, or proportionately according to compliance with the requirements. The company may purchase the airships for use on an approved British transport service at £150,000.
