Property Sale.

The late Mr Kerr Maxwell’s farm has been bought by Mr T. Woolfleld, who is now in possession. Mr Woollicld successfully farmed the property adjoining the school for very many years, and his many friends will be pleased to see him bach amongst us once more. The School. Messrs Plummer and Beaglehole, school inspectors, paid their annual visit to the school on Thursday last, and spent the day examining the work. With the sanction of the Agricultural Instructor, it is the intention this year to convert part of the school gardens into a forest nursery. Four or live species of suitable trees will be grown from seed with a view to beau--tiiydng the school 'grounds and incidentally the district.
