ANNUAL MEETING.
REPORT AND BALANCE-SHEET. ADOPTED WITHOUT COMMENT. The annual general meeting of shareholders in the N.Z.C. Dairy Company was held at the Theatre Royal, Hamilton, to-day. Although the attendance was -large, it was not nearly so big as last year, Indicating a more satisfied state of mind amongst the shareholders, while the discussion throughout showed a far better feeling than last year, when the slump was at its height.
The chair was occupied by Mr Claude Motion, chairman of directors, and when Mr Goodfollow, managing director (who has been and is still very ill) appeared on the platform he was greeted with prolonged applause. The report and balance-sheet were carried unanimously without comment. A full report of the meeting will appear to-morrow.
