FOREST FIRES IN FRANCE.

The Cannes Golf Club and racecourse building have been destroyed, and railway communication has been broken. Numbers of people are missing. Refugees are pouring into Cannes. Troops continue strenuously to fight the flames, which are rapidly spreading. The roads are thronged with people pushing carts, laden with their belongings.
