ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
By Telegrnnh.-—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Saturday. The coroner, at the inquest into the death of Ralph Hogg, who was found hanging in a gravel pit near Wellington, stated that the deceased, who is a resident of Eastbourne, had been unsuccessful in business. He had been worrying about his financial position and was very depressed. A verdict of suicide by hanging was returned. Willie Walker, aged 9 years, was knocked down by a taxi at South Dunedin on Saturday night. He was admitted to the hospital at 6.45 suffering from concussion. He was operated on, but died about an hour later.
