He , claimed that the Government had , already met with a measure of sue- * cess, and added that the Government proposed to alter the method of im- , posing company taxation A Bill , would be introduced into the House of Representatives providing for the taxation of companies at the -source instead of making individual share--holders pay. This would really mean a reduction of the rate of taxation on companies. He concluded that lion. S. M. Bruce’s visit to England would result in Australia receiving a measure of Imperial preference.
