In a case in which a coloured man engaged in tbe cocaine traffic, and who was sentenced to three years' imprisonment, the prosecuting counsel stated that owing to the cocaine habit increasingly ensnaring victims, the Home Office had raised the penalties of traffickers to a maximum ol £SOOO or ten years' imprisonment.
