TENNIS AT OLYMPIA.
ENGLISH ASSOCIATION'S DECISION. REQUEST BY SOUTH AFRICA. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. CAPETOWN, July 12. The English Lawn Tennis Association, liaving declined to compete in the Olympic Gaines owing to ex-cnemy players participating, the South African Lawn Tennis Union, which is affiliated with the English association, discussed the question, and decided to ask the English authorities for a free hand, and intimated that if permission were refused it would abide by the decision of the English association.
