SHAKESPEARE CLUB.

READING OF " BELINDA." The second reading of the 1923 season was given by the Hamilton Shakespeare Club on Saturday evening. The piece chosen was A. A. Milne's delightful comedy, "Belinda." There, was a large audience. A. A. Milne is one of the most popular of present-day writers and dramatists. His plays are light, but sparkling, with quaint humour and a delightful touch of sentiment. Among them are " Mr Pirn Passes By," which Miss Marie Tempest produced «in Hamilton a year or two ago. " Belinda " was produced in London in 1918 by Miss Irene Yanburgh, who will shortly be seen in Australia under Hie management of .1. C. Williamson, Ltd.
