The New Zealand Association football representatives narrowly escaped defeat by Now South Wales to-day, the match being drawn, one goal each. Tiie New Zealand goalkeeper was compelled to concede a couple of corners, but otherwise he gave a fine display. Shcrringham,'endeavouring to emulate last Wednesday’s performance, was always troublesome. In the second half Campbell led his side in a number of dribbling invasions and was ably supported by Innes and Dacrc, Thu latter after an opportune dash found the net. The New South Wales men vainly endeavoured to beat Craxton, but the goalkeeper, with Braithwaite, repeatedly repulsed them. Ballard forced a corner from a long shot, but New South Wales cleared the goal. Just before time was called Lcnnard beat Craxton with an awkward ground shot and Hie game ended one goal each. ,
