IN NEW ZEALAND BREWERIES LIMITED. 10% MORTGAGE DEBENTURES. it is a truism to say that the most popular beverage among one-half of the community is—beer. The business of manufacturing this beverage is one of the largest and most remunerative industries in the Dominion, and the public are notv afforded an opportunity lo secure a financial interest in its activities. New Zcalatid Breweries Limited, is a new Company, formed to acquire ten of the largest brewery businesses in the Dominion—companies which have hitherto provided nearly threefourths of the total output of beer. It is proposed to continue the respective brewing businesses without interruption, arid the first Directors of the new Company arc gentlemen who are in direct control of the breweries concerned, which have been so successful in the past. Applications arc now invited, for £1,000,000 TEN PER CENT. First Mortgage Debenture Stock in New Zealand Breweries Limited. This investment possesses all the attributes of a first-class investment. The stock is secured by a first mortgage on all the property and assets of the Company, in favour of the N.Z. Insurance Co., Ltd., as Trustee for the Debenture Stockholders.
Interest for the first three years is guaranteed by the N.Z. Insurance Go., Ltd. Interest is payable quarterly, free of exchange and free of income lax, as provided in the prospectus. As the issue is being rapidly taken up, prompt application is desirable. The prospectus may be obtained from, and applications for debentures may be made to, any member of a Stock Exchange affiliated to the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand, the local Banks, the Offices of any of the Vendor Companies, or the Interim Secretary, Accountants’ Chambers, 39 Johnston Street, Wellington.
