DAVIS CUP CONTEST.
IRELAND MEETS FRANCE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. LONDON, June 21. The match between France and Ireland in the second round of the Davis Cup contest, was commenced at Dublin to-day. In the singles, Coelict (France), beat McCrae, 6 —l, 6 —3, 13—11; Campbell beat Borotra, 6 —l, 7 — 5 ( g—o. The doubles will be played to-morrow, and the two remaining singles on Saturday.
