The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: Thermomotor: Monday .... „ 68 45 Tuesday .... 65 .50 Barometer: Tuesday 29.65 Wednesday 29.T0 Yesterday was generally fair during the early part of the day. Heavy thunder showers occurred during the night, amounting 'to 0.8:t inches of rain. Mean temperature, 57.5 degrees. Barometer unsteady, with upward tendency. Indications are that present weather conditions will continue for the next 48 hours, partly fair, with occasional heavy showers. Winds westerly, later from south, when improved conditions may be expected.
