STORY OF RIOT DENIED. BOYS CAUSE DISTURBANCE. United Pres 3 Association. SYDNEY, May 22. . The Newcastle police deny a report that riotous scenes occurred at the Whitburn mine, Greta, when a contractor and 20 employees were removing a consignment of coal at the pit. They state that the only disturbance mat occurred was caus.ed by a few boys.
