Working 800. A much-needed working bee was i organised on Friday last for the obj .Sect of clearing the blackberry in ancl I around t.he churchyard. The other workers in the bee were Messrs McEldowney (sen.). J. Wallis, J. Searlc and C. Speake, to whom the thanks of the parishioners arc given. Y.M.C.A. The Cambridge branch of t.he Y.M.C.A., wishing to raise £IOO to enable I'hem to carry on the work, decided to ask the help of the country districts. The canvass of the Kaipaki district was carried out by Mr Gilbert (secretary) and Mrs A. About £lO was collected and several promises of other contributions were made, for which the Y.M.G.A. are very grateful.
