PERSONAL.
Mr H. C. Cameron,* late Produce Commissioner New Zealand Government and Immigration Officer, London, called in Hamilton yesteday, on his way to Wellington.
Mr J. Brennan, the "dame" of the "Forty Thieves" pantomime, is spendliff a fe\v days in Hamilton while the company is -producing the "Peep Show" revue in Auckland. Nurse R. Darby, of the Walkato Hospital staff, forwarded her resignation to the meeting of the board to-day. The board in accepting expressed appreciation of Nurse Darby's services. Mr E. Killick, secretary of the Department of Health, was in Hamilton to-dav, when he conferred with members of the Waikato Board on departmental matters. Mr Killick will return to Wellington this evening.
Dr. E. S. Morris, Chief Health Officer for Tasmania, was in Hamilton to-day when he inspected the hospital, and left later for Auckland, Dr. Morris is visiting the Dominion making inquiries into the administration of the Hospitals' Act.
