EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
STATEMENT OF EXPENDITURE. £750,000 TO DATE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, March 6. Sir \y. Joynson-Hicks, answering questions, said that expenditure on the Empire Exhibition to date totalled £750,000, and it was estimated that it would have reached £2,435,000 when the exhibition closed.
