INCREASES AND REDUCTIONS. (United Press Association.) SYDNEY, September 2. . The Union Company has increased the fares to America from £6O to £67 10s first class, £4O to £46 15s second class, and £27 to £2B 10s third class. The Oceanic Company is expected to follow suit ifi a few days. Fares to New Zealand remain unaltered. > The overseas shipping companies have announced reductions in freights to the United Kindom. Tallow is reduced from 130 s to 90s, and wool reduced id per lb. The frozen meat rates are also substantially reduced.
