RUSH OF EX-SERVICEMEN. JUVENILES FOR WEST AUSTRALIA. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn). Received October 11, 5.5 p.m. LONDON. October 13. Some 108,364 ex-servicemen's applications for free passage have been received by the Overseas Settlement Committee, representing over 200,000 individuals. Although the applications j close on December 31, it is anticipated that more will lie despatched next year than this. The applications of cxscrvicemen which have been approved since April total 12,409, including Canada 5035. Australia 4522, New Zealand 1031, South Africa 992. The Child Emigration Society is despatching a contingent of boys and girls to West Australia in February.
