REPLIES TO QUESTIONS. DEFICIENCY ON SOLDIERS’ LOAN. COMPULSORY NOTICES ISSUED. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times. WELLINGTON, Thursday. Ministers’ answers to various questions wore circulated to-day. Referring to wool profits, Mr Massey stated that the Dominion’s share of the profits made from the re-sale of the first two clips under the commandeer had already been distributed to the growers. It would not be possible to ascertain what profits were available from the re-sale of the 1018-19 and 1919-20 clips, which were the subject of a separate contract, until file wool has been disposed of. There are at present over 700,000 bales still unsold, and the market position is such that it is unlikely the final liquidation of these two clips will leave any profits for Now Zealand wool growers. ’J’he Government is considering requests for the appointment of women
