I PUBLIC SERVANTS, CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association). W K L L INGT ON, Th u rs d ay. The Conference of the Federated Association of Superannuated Public Servants resolved to urge that the system of counting superannuation as income when members applied for old age pensions should be abolished; that the annuitants should not be required to put a 2d stamp on vouchers for monthly allowances; and that wives and children of superannuated officers should not have their allowances slopped on the death of the husband or father. CHURCH OF ENGLANb. FIXED PRIMACY ADVOCATED. ' NELSON, Thursday. The Synod adopted a recommendation to the General Synod that there should be a lived primacy of the Church of the province of New Zealand, centred in Wellington, and the Nelson reprosenlatives to Ihe General Synod were instructed to support the recommendation.
