RUGBY FOOTBALL
THE GAME OF THE SEASON. MATCH FOR THE MORRIS CUP. STEELE PARK, SATURDAY. All roads will lead to Steele Park on Saturday afternoon on Hie occasion of the final Rugby match of the season. At 3 o'clock on that afternoon teams representing Printers and Grocers will take the field in the annual contest for the Morris Cup. This trophy wilt be competed for every year between* fifteens representing Shops and Trades in the town, and the proceeds of the game are to be devoted to charity. The returns from Saturday's game will be handed over to the fund for the, extension of the Bailey Ward at the Waikato Hospital. The pubUc, il is anticipated, will roll up in record numbers to witness this game, and be rewarded in the twofold sense of witnessing "interesting" football and assisting a worthy cause. The teams are. :- Groce-5. Olds, Morris (captain), Gibson, Betts, Carthy, Crawford, Spencer, Fow (rover). Wallace. Ilalorow, Glover, Hoffman, Monteith, Shannon, Reld. Emergencies: Forwards, Ba.gnell, Stony, Moore, Oavan. Willey; backs, J. Mclnnes, Buston. Oibbs. Printers. Fade, Henry, McGregor, Dalgcty, Dufty, Fra-ser, L. Taylor, Prcndergast captain), W'oods, Marsh, Conradi, Stewart, Prince. Wills, Peace, Alien. Davidson. Mr J. McKenzie will be referee.
