BOY COLONISTS
SOUTH AUSTRALIAN SCHEME. (United Press Association.) ADELAIDE. October 12. The Government has adopted a BChemc for the introduction of 6000 boys from England as farm apprentices. The boys will be between 15 and '■ years of age. and apprenticeship will be for a minimum of one and a maximum of three years during which the boys will he under the guardianship of the Commissioner of Grown Lands, and will receive 'is weekly. The remainder cf their earnings will be paid to the Immigration Department and placed to their credit at U per cent interest and paid to them at the age of 21. They Will be required to pay £26 passage money—£lo prior to departure, the balance to be advanced free of interest A canvass is beinpr made of farmers and pastoralisls to absorb the lads.
