TURCO-GREEK WAR
GREECE SHORT OF MONEY. A MISSION TO ENGLAND. PROMPT PEACE RECOMMENDED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received October 12, 8.30 p.m. LONDON, October 12. The Greek Premier and Foreign Minister will arrive during the weekend in an endeavour to raise money for munitions; alternately they will ask Britain to mediate. British financiers and bankers will not give a penny to enable Greece to pursue an Imperialist war, and the mission will probably be advised to make prompt peace.
