MOPLAH REBELLION
MANY PRISONERS SENTENCED. INTENSIVE OPERATIONS PLANNED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received October 12, 12.20 p.m. • DELHI, October 11. The Summary Court's dealing with the Moplah rebels is taking strong action. They have committed 801 to sessions, and have sentenced 1654 to two years' imprisonment and two to 20 months. The military have prohibited refuges concentrating in the towns in the rebellious area, pending intensive operations against the rebels who are entrenched in the forests, whence they raid and murder.
