IMPORTS AND EXPORTS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) s LONDON, October 8. The imports during September decreased by £65,638.620 compared with a year ago, cxp/irts by £62,208,335, and re-exports by £4,755,964. The principal decreases in imporis aie: Grain and flour £13.661,756, dutiable food and drinks £4,777,095, wood and timber £6,925,707, raw cotton £4,846,684, raw wool £3,707,672. Exports: Iron and steel and manufactures £6,883,293, cotton yarns manufactures £24.548.457, woollen worst*! yarns manufactures £7,221,581, apparel £3,366,118. The principal increase in imports is meat, £887,643.
