LEAGUE OF NATIONS
JUSTIFYING ITS EXISTENCE. SECURING PEACE OF WORLD. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, October 6. The Times, in a lender reviewing the League of Nations, takes the view that it, is .justifying its existence, and gives an affirmative answer to the. questions: Is the peace of the world more secure than when the League was founded? Are its melhods appropriate to the conditions with which it is called upo to deal? The Times adds: “We may well he satisfied with what we have succeeded in accomplishing to dale. The chief dtinger is in attempting too much. If the League avoids Ibis we believe the time will come when we shall wonder how we got on without it.”
