Telegraphic advice has been received from Mi' Mervyn Wells (chairman of the Cambridge Klcclric Power Board), who is in Wellington, to the effect that he had been able to place the Power Board loan of £25,000 in Australia. The money, which has been secure:! at par. will he available immediately. The interest over the total loan averages 5j pep rent.
