CHURCH SERVICES
Anniversary services for Home Missions will be held throughout the Methodist circuits of the Soutli Auckland district on Sunday. At St Paul’s, London Street, Rev. S. Keen will preach at 11 a.m., ahd Rev. A. Mitchell (lhames) at 7 p-ra. Mr Mitchell will also sing at the evening service, and speak and sing at the annual gathering on Monday evening. At St. John’s, Hamilton East, the preachers appointed are; 11 a.rn. Rev. R. Mitchell, 7 p.m. Mr Harris. At Frankton Mr L. Ham 's and Rev. S. Keen will conduct the services. At all services throughout the circuit the offertories will be for Home Missions.
The services to-morrow at First Church, Presbyterian, King Street, will be conducted by Rev. J. T. Burrows, and also at Koromatua at 2.30.
On Sunday evening, at the Church of Christ, Claudelands, Pastor J. Foster’s subject will be, “And the Woman which Thou Sawcst is that Great City's Babylon.” ■ Rev. R. Mackie will preach in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Claudelands, to-morrow at 11 a.m. Morning subject. “For the Individual by the Individual”; evening, “The Boy who said he Would and Didn’t and the Boy who said he Wouldn’t and Did.” Mr Mac Diarmid will preach at Tamahere at 2 p.m. ' The service at the Gospel Hall on Sunday evening will be conducted by Mr D. R. Saunders, when a hearty welcome will be given to all. Rev. H- G. Hercus will speak at both services of the Baptist Church to-mor-row. In the evening he will B peak at the King’s Theatre on “The Church—what the Bible teaches concerning its constitution, purpose, and destiny."
