NORMA TALMADGE AT “STRAND.” Firs! National Attractions, Lid., will present this evening and to-morrow the screen's most popular favourite star, Norma Talrnadgc, in the tremendous adaptation of Jacinto Bcnavenlc's famous work, “The Passion Flower.” “The Passion Flower," known in Spain as “La Malquerida,” is a story aflame with the primitive passions of the simple peasant, to whom love is life. Larry Femon, the world-famous screen comedian, is also presented in his latest and greatest character in “Solid Concrete.” An interesting programme of topical (English), educational ana other fine films completes the excellent bill, which will be accompanied by delightful music by the popular Strand orchestra. A big special matinee takes place to-morrow at 2.30. The plans are at the Novelty Depot, and at the Theatre to-morrow. Early bookings arc urged. “WHILE THE BILLY BOILS." The latest Beaumont Smith production, “While the Billy Boils,” founded on Henry Lawson’s famous book, is bound to prove one of the greatest film successes that, Australia has known. Both author and producer have, won a place in 1 tie esteem of the public, and their conjoint efforts in “While the Billy. Boils” is going to further enhance their reputations. •This great Australian special attraction opens a two days’ season at The Strand on Monday next. The plans will open at. the Novelty Depot lomorrow (Saturday) morning, where early reservations arc advised. THEATRE ROYAL. Bert Lytell. the actor of real experience and ability, who has been delighting patrons in his admirably wrought Metro production, "The Misleading Lady,” will finish a successful season to-night. Dramatic moments, humour and romance arc most skilfully blended in “The Misleading Lady,” and the result is a thoroughly likeable picture. Eddie Polo’s “King of the Circus,” also a smart Christie cm cdy, a splendid copy of Bray’s piclograph and cartoons, and a good magazine complete a delightful programme. Feats should hi reserved at Paul’sGRAND MATINEE TO-MOBItOW. At Ihe Theatre Royal an unusually allractive matinee, programme will consist of Ihe Genlury wonder dog, with Harry Fwoel and Inez McDonald, in the tremendous comedy “Fire Hugs,” Eddie Polo in "King of the Circus,” International News, and Edith Roberts’ great spectacular play, “The Fire Cal.” In Ihe evening two of the finest (Urns ever brought to Hamilton should pack the theatre. Paramount’s all-star cast will present Ihe famous 8000 ft picture monarch, “The Passionate Pilgrim,” and Edith Roberts will star in Norman Davis’ big success, "The Fire Cta.” An especially arranged music attraction will be the overture, "(scotch and Irish Airs." by Claude, Smilh and the. Royal Orchestra. Early application for scats at Paul’s is advisable. KING’S THEATRE. Patrons who rlid not admire the splendid double bill which finishes a successful season to-night -would be hard to please. The two kincmas shown are massive and praiseworthy films. Monte Blue and a powerful Paramount cast do grand work in “The Kentuckians,” a play of real force, while Marjorie Wallis and James Knight please everybody in Ihe, all-British production “The Silver Greyhound,” a gripping tale of adventure. Three star specials will be shown at the night performance—viz;., William Russell in "The Cheater Reformed,” Louise Lovely in “While the Devil Laughs,” and Eileen Sedgwick in “The Diamond Queen."
