There are no orders, and there are enormous stocks. Unemployment is rife throughout Hie West Hiding woollen districts. Bradford is more hopeful. There is much unemployment but I here is also a decided movement in trade, because the manufacturers arc able lo produce at lower prices than where large liigh- ; priced slocks arc held. The prohibij lion of German dyes does not cause concern. Large stocks are held of ! British broad colours equal to German ; dyes, hut they arc still unequal to Hie more delicate shades.
