FIGURES FOR SEPTEMBER. Following is the registered rainfall in the several districts for September : Hamilton (Dr. Douglas): Total fall, 3.62 in.; maximum, 1.35 in. on 19th; 14 days' rain. Tirau (Mr T. Shannon): Total fall 3-48 in. on nine days; the maximum fall was 1.13 in. on the 16th. Rainfall for September last year was 3.83 in.; rainfall for nine months ending 30th September, 29.10 in, and for the same period last year 42.99ir;. Morrinsvillc (Dr. G- E. Seville) : Total fall, 2.Biin.: rain fell on 8 days; maximum fall, .88in. on the 19th. In September, 1920, 2.59 in. on 8 days; in September, 1919, 4.4"5in. on 11 days; in September, 1918, 2.47 tn. on 11 days; in September,' 1917, 3.3iin. on 14 days. Matamata (Mr A. Kirkness) : Total rainfall, 3.24 in. on 13 days. The heaviest fall was 1.16 in. on the 16th; total fall for present year to date, 27.16 in. Taupiri (Mr .lull): Total rainfall, 4.05 in on 9 days; greatest fall, 1.25 in. on 19th. Waharoa (Mr J. S. Doull): Total quantity of rain, 3.44 in. on 13 days; greatest fall, I.oßin. on 17lh; average for month, 11 points. Total rainfall for year to date, 25.3 lin.; quantity September, 1920, 4-15 in.
