A SEAPLANE'S FLIGHT
AUCKLAND TO WELLINGTON. A STOPPAGE AT WANGANUI. DUE TO ENGINE TROUBLE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association). WANC.ANUI. Tuesday. A seaplane owned by Messrs Walsh Bros, left Auckland at C. 30 this morning, arriving at Castlccliff at 11.10. She came up the river for petrol, and then re-started on her journey to Wellington, but developed engine trouble, and is still in the river. WELLINGTON REACHED. FLYING TIME 5 HOURS 0 MINUTES. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The seaplane which left Auckland at 7.2 a.m. yesterday reached Wellington at :>.B p.m. The. plane came via Kawhii and Wanganui, and the actual Hying time for the 100 miles was 5 hours (i minutes.
