CRIMINALS SENTENCED
By Telegraph.—Press Association. AUCKLAND, Wednesday. At the Supreme Court, Will Thomas Martin, who pleaded guilty to six charges of theft from his employer, was sentenced to three years’ reformative treatment. David William Carter pleaded guilty to 1 i charges of false pretences, and two of theft. He was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment, and declared an habitual criminal. Roya Marlin, aged 20, the oldest, of a gang of four youthful burglars, was sentenced to three years’ reformative treatment.
