RUSSIAN FOREIGN DEBT
RECOGNITION PROPOSED,. LENIN’S LATEST MOVES. (Australian and N.Z. Gable Assn.) COPENHAGEN, July 28. The Politiken publishes reports from Moscow to the effect that in order to obtain foreign help, Lenin proposes to recognise the Russian public debt, which the Bolsheviks repudiated when they assumed power, but he will not commence the payment of interest before 1923. A conference of S6vict delegates and 'foreign representatives will be convened to fix the amount of the debt and arrange for tile immediate resumption of economic relations between Russia and European States.
