EXCHANGE PROBLEM
* POSITION IN AUSTRALIA. BRITISH BANKERS' VIEWS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received February 23, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, February 22. Bankers consider that the Australian exchange problem is casing slowly, and hold out hopes that the position will right itself as exports increase from Australia, but they are of the opinion that stringency may recur in November owing to (lie difficulty of working off the adverse balance of trade which has acsince the cessation of Government purchases of woo] and wheat.
