BOLSHEVIK MENACE
FOR FRESH ATTACK ON POLAND. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received December 9, 8.45 a.m. LONDON, December 7. It is persistently rumoured in Eastern Europe that the Bolsheviks are concentrating forces for a new attack on Poland. Five armies have been brought to the frontiers on the Dvina front between Polotsk and Vitliesk and on the Dneiper front between Smolensk and Mohiloff. Concentrations are proceeding at Vilna. It is apprehended that the first objective will be the invasion of the Baltic States.
