REFUGEES IN POLAND
FROM GENERAL PETLURA'S ARMY DEMORALISED AND DISEASED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, December 4. As a result of the Bolshevik victories, 30,000 of Petlura's soldiers, with women and children, are again crossing into Poland in a demoralised, diseased and indescribable condition. This is the third time Poland has had to receive a refuging army, and the prospects are appalling.
