Gentlemen, We believe that you are desirous of discovering some meanswhereby you can.combat and eventually overcome the present state of low production, and thus help to bring down the high cost of living to its normal level. We realise that it is your aim to help the country by producing the greatest amount of butter-fat possible, and as the industry in which you are engaged Is of primary importance to the State, then, without doubt, it is the duty of all to assist you to attain your desired end. The average yield per cow for the Dominion is 1601bs of Butterfat, and if the Dairy Farmer can raise that average to 1801bs or 2001bs per cow, then he is doing a great service to the community, for in other words, he is increasing production, and it must of necessity follow that the higher the average, the lower thecost of production. The object of this letter is to offer every Dairy Farmer in the District an opportunity to procure a simple and ingenious device whereby he can test his cows individually, and by this means raise the value of his herd, and Increase the production of butter-lat. We confidently predict that the Dairy Farmers of New Zealand will make great strides in systematic individual testing this- season, and the result will be shown in an increase in the average production of butter-fat. In a few words we may explain that we have taken up the AGENCY FOR THE WALLACE AND STEPHENSON WEIGHING AND SAMPLING MACHINE. This machine, which is simple to operate, absolutely sanitary, and which, in addition, costs nothing for upkeep, is used in conjunction with the Releaser Milking Machine. There are no alterations necessary to install this Maohlne in your shed. The Container is placed on your dummy bails, a piece of rubber attaches to your milk tap, and the machine is ready for use.
