Sir A. Conan Doyle, at a-- second crowded lecture, dealt with the religious side of spiritualism. He claimed that if psychic research was a proper thing, as the churches admitted, he could not see why they did not go further and let it impinge upon religion. If Christ'an sects would go out of their narrow cliques and took a broader view they would understand that the spiritualists were helpful allies, and they would understand what the Community of Saints really did mean,
