SINN FEIN PLOTTING. TO SHAKE BELFAST'S CREDIT. AFFRAY IN PROFESSOR'S HOUSE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received October 13, 0.50 p.m. LONDON, October 13. There is an indication in Belfast business circles that the report that a moratorium is being arranged is entirely due to Sinn Feiners, with the object of impairing credit in Belfast. The officers killed at Drumconda include Major Smyth, a brother of Commissioner Smyth, who was murdered In Cork in July. The officers were apparently shot by two men hiding in Professor Carrolan's house, and who escaped.
