A great crowd of dockers assembled at Havre demanding the release of an 'imprisoned leader. Two squadrons of Chasseurs drove (be crowd from the streets. Dynamiters destroyed the track of tlie Paris-Bordeaux railway near Tours. The damage was discovered just in time. The General Confederation of Labour is appealing to Hie international Socialists to co-operate to prevent the suppression of I lie confederation. The latter has ordered a general gas strike 01: Friday.
