A WRECKED LINER
SUNK BY A ROCK. FOUR HUNDRED MISSING. HOPES FOR SURVIVORS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received January 15, 10.55 a.m. PARIS, Jan. 13. The liner Afrique "was damaged during a gale in the Bay of Biscay, and was returning to port when she struck a rock and sunk. Four hundred are missing, but it is hoped that a number will be rescued from the boats and rafts.
