OUT TO TAKE CHARGE
A DRUNKEN MAN’S THREAT.
(By Telegraph — Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday.
A man named Leonard George Robertson, apparently suffering from the of a drinking bout took charge of his mother’s siiop in Day View Road last evening, causing alarm by brandishing a rifle. His mother fled in alarm on to the street, and Robertson followed.- Constable Milne came on the scene, and closed with the demented man, who threatened to do for all around. The constable seized the rifle, and a struggle followed in which Robertson had his arm broken. On examination the rifle was found to be unloaded.
