A REIGN OF TERROR
RAMPANT IN HONGKONG. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY AND MURDER. (United Press Association.) BRISBANE, January 12. Passengers by the Tango Maru from Japan bring news of a reign of terror in Hongkong as the result of daring depredations by Chinese pirates and robber gangs. Daylight robberies are of daily occurrence, and members of the police are frequently shot in the streets.
