TYPHOID AMONG NATIVES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, Tuesday. Dr Mercer, district health officer, ac-, cornpanied by nurses and volunteer workers, leave shortly for To Araroa in connection with the typhoid outbreak among natives. GISBORNE, Tuesday. Enquiries from Te Araroa states that there has been no recrudescence -of typhoid. At present there is only one case in the hospital, and five in the district, one of which is convalescent.
