MONEY ORDER DELAYS

HAMILTON COMPLAINTS. LEDGER OFFICE NECESSARY. What is as a genuine grievance is the great delay experienced in withdrawing money from the Post-office Savings Bank by Hamilton applicants. Several members of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce uttered complaints at a meeting of that body last night against the present dilatory system, which, it wis stated, was causing a dislocation of business. The. chairman, Mr G. Parr, pointed out that the matter had come before the Chamber on frequent occasions, but the Department was hard to move. Mr W. F. Mason said the matter had become one. for serious consideration, and it was very necessary that Hamilton should be constituted a ledger oflic 1 as early as possible. The present position had undoubtedly developed into a very real grievance. It was decided to make representations to the Postal Department on the matter.
