MOTOR CYCLE ACCIDENT

HAMILTONIANS INJURED. At about three o’clock on Saturday afternoon, as a motor cycle, with side chair, driven by Mr Claude McKind.er. of the Soldiers’ Club, Hamilton, was turning the corner in front of the Town. Hall, Cambridge, the wheel skidded, with the result that the machine struck one of the posts of the fence surrounding the Jubilee Gardens. Mr McKinder had his knee-cap badly fractured. Sergeant John D. Beattie, who was in the side ear. was thrown out oil his head, and rendered unconscious. The other occupant of the side car escaped injury. Dr. Stapely was quickly on the scene, and attended the injured men.

McKinder is at present an inmate of the Waikato Hospital, where he is progressing well.
