Rev. Father Hannigan, C.S.S.R., who had been in Hamilton for a couple of weeks, left for Auckland yesterday. The Prince of Wales attended the Australian and New Zealand Club’s luncheon. Miss R. V. Watty, of Hamilton, has returned from a holiday vacation at Wanganui. Mr Justice Herdman and his son, .who have been having a holiday fishing in Hie Rotorua district, joined the south-bound Main Trunk express at Frankton yesterday afternoon. Mr Mace, who had lo leave hurriedly for Auckland yesterday, is returning to-day, and will speak at the Tent, Victoria street, to-night. • The death occurred on Saturday of Mrs Susanna Soiynsen, of Paeroa, at the age of 79. The deceased lady was the mother of Mr Norman Sorensen, of H miilton.
