The Farmers’ (Jo-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— TE ANGA SALE. At Te Anga, on Wednesday, 7th inst., we varded 555 sheep and 270 head of cattle/ All stock were in exceptionally good order, and commanded keen 'competition. We quote: Fat four-tooth wethers, 35s 7d to 3Gs Gd; forward four-tooth wethers, 31s ; forward two-tooths, 2Gs 3d; prime fat ewes 28; four-year steers, £ll 15s to £l2 2s; forward cows, £8 10s to £lO Is; stores, small, £6 to £6 12s 6d; cows and calves, £5 15s to £7 7s 6d; empty heifers, yearling, to 15 months, well irrown, £4 12s Gd to £5 2s 6d, smaller sorts £3 11s; bulls, small, £3 17s Gd to £6; heavier sorts to £lO. The beef market was a little easier, mutton market firm, store and young cattle easy.
